How to apply

Find a pre-approved legal-sector solution on GoBusiness Gov Assist, get an unsigned quotation from the solution provider, then submit the application on the Business Grants Portal with a Corppass account. Do not sign or pay anything before submitting.

  1. On GoBusiness Gov Assist, open the list of pre-approved solutions, select the Legal sector, and identify the solutions you want to adopt.
  2. Obtain unsigned quotations from the solution provider for the identified solutions.
  3. Submit the application on the Business Grants Portal (BGP); the firm needs a Corppass account. In BGP, choose the sector, then the option to upgrade key business areas such as adopting technology, then the productivity grant option (exact portal labels are in notes), and complete the Eligibility, Contact details, Proposal, Cost, Business Impact and Declaration steps.
  4. If approved, accept the Letter of Offer on BGP (under My Grants, Applications, Updates Required); only a user with the Acceptor role can accept.
  5. Subscribe to and use the approved solution, and pay for it in full. Firms are encouraged to claim after full deployment, with documents showing at least one month of use.
  6. File one claim on BGP (My Grants, Claims, File new claim) with the claim documents and business outcomes; payment follows approval via PayNow Corporate.

Before applying

  • No contract signed and no payment or deposit made to a supplier, vendor or third party before the application is submitted.
  • The firm has a Corppass account and BGP access.

Documents

  • Quotation from the solution provider — Unsigned quotation for each identified solution. The FAQ lists no other application documents.

Processing time: Applications are processed about six (6) weeks from the submission of all required information.

Claiming support

One claim per approved application. Before claiming the firm must have subscribed to the solution as approved, used it, paid for it in full, and gathered all claim documentation. Funds are disbursed through PayNow Corporate after the claim is approved; the firm's UEN must be registered and linked to its bank account, and its PayNow Corporate details submitted through the FormSG before or with its first grant claim.

Application window: The FAQ (31 July 2025) and the 7 April 2026 MinLaw reply describe the grant as ongoing and state no opening or closing date.
