Who qualifies

  • Must be registered in Singapore.
  • Business must be registered and operating in Singapore.
  • At least 30% ownership, direct or indirect, by Singapore Citizens and/or PRs, determined by ultimate individual ownership.
  • Must not have previously applied for grant support for the solution. Digital solutions must be used or implemented in Singapore; equipment must be new, used in Singapore and meet mandatory specifications.
  • Home-based businesses are excluded by all 30 equipment pages and 25 of the 43 digital-solution pages; check the selected activity rather than treating this as a category-wide exclusion.
  • Large-scale Automation requires enterprise-wide advanced automation above industry norms, integration or standardisation across production/operational systems and significant productivity improvements. Large-scale Digital Transformation requires measurable growth/efficiency impact and integration or standardisation across systems.
  • 30 pre-scoped equipment activities: project must be completed within 12 months from date of approval; 43 digital-solution activities (integrated enterprise systems and single-function): within 18 months. Costs incurred from date of application are covered upon approval (73 activity pages).
  • Minimum local shareholding (%): 30.

Costs covered: Software licences and SaaS; Hardware, machinery, IT equipment.

Maximum support: up to 50%.

All open activity pages state up to 50% for SMEs and 30% for non-SMEs. FAQ SME tier definition: group annual sales turnover not more than S$100 million OR group employment no more than 200; non-SMEs are not excluded.

Recorded cap: S$100,000.

S$100,000 annual company cap is shared across all EDGE categories, not per category, and resets on 1 April. The selected activity may have a lower cost cap or grant quantum; the exact page-level caps and support statements are recorded in docs/research/2026-10-26-edge-activity-evidence.yaml. Within the shared cap, single-function digital solutions, integrated enterprise systems and pre-scoped equipment share a S$30,000 annual sub-cap. Do not apply this sub-cap to the two large-scale activities merely because they are in this category. The 73 digital and equipment pages each state a cost cap of S$1,000 to S$60,000 and a maximum grant of S$500 to S$30,000 for SMEs (S$300 to S$18,000 for non-SMEs); the two large-scale pages state no cost cap or grant amount.

Payment: Paid after the company incurs the cost and files a claim.

How to apply

Choose an open activity, prepare its required documents and vendor proposal, and apply through BGP using company Corppass. Accept the Letter of Offer, complete its deliverables, then submit the claim on BGP.

  1. Select an open activity and prepare its application documents and suitable vendor proposal.
  2. Single-function digital solutions and ERP with a pre-approved vendor: find the vendor and solution on IMDA SMEs Go Digital, get a quotation, build a solution package that matches the quotation exactly, and generate its package reference ID with company Corppass; the ID is required on BGP.
  3. Submit on BGP using company Corppass; third parties must not apply or manage the grant on the company’s behalf.
  4. Accept the Letter of Offer and complete the approved project and deliverables.
  5. Set up PayNow Corporate or GIRO, prepare payment and deliverables evidence, engage an auditor where required, and submit the claim on BGP.

Claiming support

Pay all approved expenses in full, complete the Letter of Offer deliverables and submit the claim on BGP. Keep eligibility through claim submission. Provide expense verification and deliverables documents; foreign-language evidence needs an English translation. Disbursement after claim approval: PayNow Corporate within 14 working days, GIRO up to eight weeks. Auditor required for Large-scale Digital Transformation and Large-scale Automation: engage an EnterpriseSG panel auditor, sign the engagement letter before submitting, and submit within 14 working days of signing. Pay the auditor promptly; assessment follows completion of the audit.
