Who qualifies

• Must be registered in Singapore.
• Company must be financially able to complete the project.
• SME test: group annual sales turnover no more than S$100 million OR group employment size no more than 200. EnterpriseSG also advertises large local company support, but its eligibility section repeats the SME test; confirm LLE eligibility with the agency.
• At least 30% local equity held directly or indirectly by Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, determined by ultimate individual ownership.
• Minimum local shareholding (%): 30.

What it funds

• R&D, product development, prototyping, IP
• Core capabilities — strategy, HR, finance, branding, processes

Costs covered: Internal staff salary attributable to the project.

Maximum support: up to 70%.

EnterpriseSG states up to 70% of allowable costs for SMEs/startups and up to 30% for large local companies; both capped at S$250,000 per project.

Recorded cap: S$250,000.

Per-project cap, not a company lifetime cap. EnterpriseSG says funding includes overseas costs such as living allowances and airfare of contracted research scientists and engineers.
