How to apply

Applicants can make enquiries about the course fees, which include exam fees, and register directly with a Registered Training Provider (IES Academy or SEAS) if they wish to enrol for the SCEM course. Those who wish to sit the examination without attending the course register with the Energy Efficiency Technology Centre of the Singapore Institute of Technology. Candidates who meet the certification criteria then apply for certification with the SCEM Registry, housed under IES.

The page gives the training, examination and certification route in full but states no funding-application workflow, because NEA does not itself run a grant here.

  1. Check the training-admission prerequisites for the Associate or Professional level.
  2. Register directly with a Registered Training Provider for the SCEM course, or with the EETC at SIT to sit the examination without the course.
  3. Pass the examinations for the required core and elective modules.
  4. Apply for SCEM or ASCEM certification with the SCEM Registry.
